Issue:  American Tornado Disaster Relief 2011

Severe tornados ripped through Missouri, Minnesota, Alabama, and other places in the south during the last few months.  Hundreds were left dead and towns were turned into rubble piles.  On one day, 100 tornados raged through the south.  The tornado that struck Joplin Missouri was the worst in over fifty years.  The U.S. government and the National Guard, as well as the Red Cross and numerous charitable organizations have mobilized to help rebuild the tornado-struck communities.  There are numerous relief efforts and many ways that ordinary Americans can help.
